Each day with breakfast in your hotel. Lunch will be on your own, but most days a light snack will suffice, since



TRANSPORTATION

You will have first class rail passes for transferring between cities and hop-on-hop-off bus passes to discover the cities.  In most cities, we select hotels near the train station for ease of getting around, but occasionally you will take taxi cabs to move between venues.  In London, you will have a Tube and bus pass.  Be prepared for lots of walking to fully experience all that is offered!


Bath has been a tourist destination for thousands of years.  The Romans came for the hot springs which they built an elaborate bath house and community around.  Later, the Georgians turned the city into a resort for the upper crust of society. There are more historic buildings in Bath per capita than anywhere else in England, and we’ll explore a variety of them. One of the highlights of the trip is an evening at a modern spa that uses that same water source the ancient Romans discovered.

Dinners are all on your own. You might wish to relax in your room with a

light snack, eat in the hotel’s restaurant or bar,  or try a quaint spot you discovered that day.  Your hotel in London is in an area that has many, many restaurants in very close proximity, so you’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy trying.
